Rae's weight loss for Parkinsons

Hiya moonbeams!

Ok, so going to the gym this afternoon hopefully about 1pm then seeing my friend Gabby after. Although never that sure what to get for us for dinner!

Well I'm now trying to lose 10% of my body weight for charity and to see if I can do it at the gym as well as hopefully healthy eating.  If you'd like to help me my page is at:

Love this idea I found on google! Wonder if it would work where I live? Or someone would just sadly vandalise the whole thing, why people do that I never know!!  vv

The rarity of calm in  Nature

Finding a rare moment of serentity in a busy town in the North of England! I went on one of my bike rides today and thought I'd take some photos on the way to show you all.  Not even on instagram yet, shock horror! :D I've got to say I love going out in nature.  Surprised that I've only had a bird poop once on my head whilst my once helping my mum in the Garden. Also I've got a thing about taking pictures of nature down little snicket ways and alley ways that people go past and some are just so oblivious to nature plugged into their iphones or what not with music blaring out or dog walkers more worried about their dogs... Mind you maybe some see the world like this the true love of nature... the people that love strolling to look around them not just cos their determined to get somewhere.  Does that make sense? First a blurry (sorry about that) picture of the tea bags I leave out for people or hand to people along with new business cards that I've just got from bananna print!! Good Quality too!
Going down that same snicket* way! The park at the end of one of the roads.Another view. The famous poor Vetran Oak Tree. The 'imposter' blue bells!
Somewhere down that snicket I have a geocache!

SHROOMS! .... sadly the other one was kicked about and destroyed by nature haters!
Going round on the bike I found a little gem stone someone had lost so I typed a tag out and going to see if it was still there which it was... I tied it to a lampost and hoping someone will find it! Of course with my card! :D

Bright Blessings and stay strong Moonbeams! :D

Wee bee lady

I've just found this rather curiously interesting to me anyway ... a post I found on facebook about a lady who found a bee without wings and looked after it untill it parted this world...

Very awe-worthy watch and click the link below!
Woman befriends a bee!

When she found an injured bee in her garden, this woman took her in and was surprised when she got so attached to her. Today on Soulmates, watch how Bee and her mom developed such an unusual, special bond ❤️❤️❤️

A BALINESE STORY

Artical / Story by
Felicity Fyr Le Fay· Kesimpar, Indonesia

BALINESE STORY OF THE DAY:
I was 20 mins in to a 3 hour bike excursion across Bali when I saw a wee dog lying in the middle of the main road, while traffic dodged around her. I was really worried, so I pulled over and picked her up, and found she was looking pretty sorry all covered with flea dirt or mange or something, and hungry. I decided to get her some dinner, tried two shops but no one could understand me, or understand why I would want to feed a stray dog. Beautiful people here in Bali, but terribly short on compassion for animals.
After walking down the road a bit I found a rough sort of resturant, and luckily there was a Dutch Guy who had been living in Bali 8 years, who spoke Indonesian and helped me request a chicken dinner. Then it took me 20 minutes wandering up and down alleyways trying to find where the wee doggie had gone, before all three of us, me, Doggie and Dutch Guy had a meal at the restaurant.
Dutch Guy decided I was some sort of Saint, which was sweet, and kindly paid for all of us to dine, though I couldn't coax him to adopt Doggie and give her a wash. I tried coaxing a Balinese man who had come to watch, he just laughed, and then I noticed he had a dog trapped in a meter square cage looking utterly miserable in his driveway.
I considered trying to take her the 60km back to Ubud on my scooter, but in the end decided there was too much of a chance she would leap off and get crushed under someone's truck on the super busy roads. So I put her back where I found her, in case Mummy Doggo is still near by. She is terribly small and maybe just lost her litter? Oh gosh, I hope I did the right thing?
Please send wishes and blessings for a long and healthy doggie life. I miss her already

Felicity

Poop Bags and Timetables! :D

Friday 11th May 2018... Poopascoop bags and Timetables are my RAOK of the Day :D

Ok, maybe not a good but random title for todays blog post! After the sad sharing of the vlog yesterday with a biker picking up a stray cat poor thing! ... On a sort of happier note I did a random act of kindness by leaving bus time tables as I work in the tourist office where I live on the notice board at the end of my road.  That is as well as leaving dog poop bags out for people so they have no excuse for not picking their pooches offerings up!!

Timetables! and...

Poop bags! ....   NOW DONT SOIL OUR LAWNS DOGS, TELL YA OWNERS TO LOOK AFTER YA! LOL

Digital Tip Jars

Hello Readers and Moonbeams! :D

Ok, Sooooo... I've been looking into these so called 'digital tip jars' a bit like pay pal or rather those that work along side pay pal.  That creators and artists and others like RAKtivists use if people wish to give them donations.  Not all people use them but I thought I'd make a blog post about it.

The first one I've started to use and see the button to the right on the 'Navigate Bar' ----->>
That's one done by ko-fi.com  if you wish to donate to me and be part of my current ongoing goal of leading up to getting £10  for help towards Random Acts and also the Art Abandonment that I am going to do and will put a blog post on about that too!

Here's another one I've just found called:  https://digitaltipjar.com/ and according to their website they say this about it:

Digital Tip Jar connects creators and supporters in the spirit of mutual gratitude and appreciation. Sign up as a creator to begin receiving tips with credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Become a supporter to let your favorite creators know how much their work means to you.

... and this is Rae's link to the Tip  Jar one : https://digitaltipjar.com/TeaandBookLadyUK

The question is do you do this with your work or your blogs posts or websites? Have you seen anything like this before, let me know?! Apparently you can sign into both using your email as log in or just a log in and email.

Untill next time,

Rae.

Ok, so I've dropped off whilst on my bike ride around our little town up here in the North of England.  I have posted 17 RAOK's teabags with little notes inside hopefully inspiring people to #Payitforward if they do that is hehe! I am hoping that no one seems to think it as a prank, as well as I keep thinking I am still new to this after a few years of doing it! So if you got one of my RAOKs let me know! AND Hope you have a good rest of the week!

What would Blog readers do? What kind of Random Acts do you do around your area? Please let me know and don't forget if you want me to dedicate a blog post to you I will do!
